To write a research essay for Academic Purpose, in most cases, requires the citation of the arguments or conclusions from peer-reviewed, academic papers.
Those papers are mainly published on academic journals, which is usually not for free. Therefore, they can not be found simply by Google.
One of the efficient ways to find the target literature is by using the database of peer-reviewed literature. This article gives an introduction to the database resources of TUM
1. Elsevier’s Scopus
The recommend tool here is the scopus.

2. E-journal
If you already know which journal the paper is published, then you can directly search it on that journal.
2.1 open the page of the library
same as step 1.1.
2.2 Choose the E-journal
type the name of the journal, e.g. physics of fluids.

if the library bought that journal, it will appears on the search results.

2.3 search the paper on the website of the journal
After login the eAccess, go to the website of the journal via the Link provided by eAccess, and type the name of paper on the search bar.
